Millen racing is happy to announce that we will be in the house for the Shake Down! Yep, the first time we will be in attendance for this event! Bowling Green is now behind us and we are gearing up and getting ready for the Race of the year! We are looking forward to competing at this event. It is known to be the race of all races on the east coast and we are going to try our hardest to let it rip and throw down some serious numbers!

For the past few years the Shakedown has drawn publicity and is gaining momentum as the race you can’t afford to miss. We will be there with no bells but a lot of whistle!

Dan Millen and crew chief Scott Amesse take a day off and go to the NHRA race as quest of ringer gloves to take in the race. Millen racing would like to that there host from ringers gloves Mindy Stephens & Josh Pedregon for all the hospitality at the race. Later in the week Dan and Scott got to check out all the new parts and cool concept vehicles at the show the car that caught Scottês eye was a corvette 2008 Z06 done by Livernois motorsports and the Lear Corporation Livernois did the engine mods and tuning and Lear did a custom interior in the car to check this car out its on www.livernoismotorsports.com it looks killer.

In Nitto Tire Super Street 10.5W, Dan Millen made it two in a row by winning the Memphis event. Team Millen was determined to win the NMCA super street title but fell short by a scant 10-points.The team was Happy with there end of the year charge and finishing in the number 2 spot and look forward to a great 2008 season.

In Nitto Tire super Street 10.5 W, Dan Millen claimed his first win of the year after beating Spiro Pappas in a 7.04 to 7.10 affair. In the semis Millen also defeated rival and class points leader Jim Blair. In the Nitto Tire Shootout held during qualifying on Saturday, Millen knocked off Bryan Markiewicz to take home the bonus money.

Over the border the team went unannounced to the surprise of event coordinator Joe DaSilva for some of the best racing the team has seen at a single race with a 16 car field the team qualified 4th with a 6.98 Number 1 was a 6.84 and the 16th was a 7.37 so this was a full field of heavy hitters the team won there first round and then went out in the second round to the eventual winner of the event Millen racing would like to thank Joe DaSilva for putting on a great event and for all his hospitality.
