DAN MILLEN Driver/Owner

Dan A.K.A “Desert Eagle”,"Hollywood" and affectionately, “Danny”, is one of the all-time most winning Outlaw Championship drivers in drag racing. With consistency and experience, Millen has proven himself as a leader in the world of drag racing both on and off the track. He is a tried and true professional in the performance industry as a competitive racer and business owner with a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University and currently working on a Masters Degree.

Millen has become a class legend, breaking records year after year. He has the knowledge and experience it takes to make and maintain a winning race team. As a driver with the most national titles, his championships speak for themselves. Few teams have what it takes to make a statement on and off the race track.  Dan Millen has managed to master both.

Millen started his drag racing career in 1995 at age 19. In 1997, his rookie debut, he went undefeated. 2001 he drove to the NMRA Champions Circle with his first national title. In 2002 he won the coveted title as the Champion of the World Ford Challenge beating the most famous name in drag racing, the legend Bob Glidden. In 2003, Millen made Street Outlaw history as the first Outlaw Mustang to run the 1/4 mile at 7.17 @ 202 mph. In 2004 he again drove his team and Sponsors to another Championship winning the NMCA PRO SERIES and went back to the World Ford Challenge to take the Championship again, the first and only racer to do so. In 2007 Millen drove his team to the Championship ring in the NOPI X-BOX SERIES.  Millen Racing is currently first in points and close to to yet another NMRA Championship for 2009.

SCOTT AMESSE Team Manager/Crew Chief

"Scotty" A.K.A “Scotty too Hottie”, “Scooter” or “Scoot”, is a seasoned Crew Chief with 10 plus years of motorsports experience. He manages Millen Racing with a level of dedication and determination that pushes the team every year to achieve the success that Millen Racing, its fans and sponsors get excited about and continue to support. 

Scotty is the go to person for all scheduling, maintenance, sponsor relations, and parts inventory for Millen Racing.  During race season, Scotty is diligently managing his time between travel preparation, sponsor relations, hauler maintenance, race car maintenance, team organizer and crew chief. He works side by side with Dan Millen in the planning process of the race team's performance goals and event schedule each year.
 
Scotty’s focus in the Off Season turns to updating and maintaining the race car which includes any safety, aesthetic, electronic, and performance requirements.  He also works side by side with Dan Millen on new program initiatives, R&D, and testing new concepts; practices that he takes seriously in his efforts to continue to manage a championship race team.

MATTHEW MARTIN Clutch/Engine Specialist

Matt A.K.A “Faterpillar” is an experienced engine machinist at Livernois Motorsports.  He holds a Degree in High Performance Technologies from University of Northwest Ohio and has several years of experience as a clutch and engine tuner for Harold Martin Racing. At Livernois Motorsports, Matt stays busy as a specialized machinist in Blocks, Cranks, Pistons and Cylinder heads. 

Matt’s formal education combined with his experience in general mechanics and expertise in clutch servicing and adjustments makes him an asset at the race track and a critical part of the Millen Racing team.

DEBBIE LAUDER DENNY

Debbie A.K.A “Miami”, “Lil Deb” and “Mini” has provided Millen Racing with sponsorship and promotional strategies for over 6 years.  She is owner of Flashpoint Marketing of Jacksonville, Florida and has over a decade of experience in motorsports marketing and promotions including sponsorship initiatives, special events and team management consulting. She has also been involved in promoting Drag racing events since 1997 with World Race Events. She is an asset to the Millen Racing team and has been a key person in the success of our sponsorship program.
